WAICY 2025: Where the Future of AI Begins
The World Artificial Intelligence Competition for Youth (WAICY 2025) is a truly global event that brings together young innovators from every corner of the world to explore, experiment, and showcase their talents in artificial intelligence.
This year, WAICY carries forward its four signature tracks—AI Showcase, Large Language Models, AI-Generated Image, and AI-Generated Video—each designed to challenge participants and inspire them to think critically about the role of AI in shaping our world. What’s new in 2025 is the competition theme, which invites students to apply AI in ways that respond to today’s global challenges and imagine tomorrow’s opportunities.
With competition hubs across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North America, WAICY 2025 offers a truly international stage for collaboration, learning, and innovation. Whether building algorithms, designing robots, or crafting creative AI projects, participants take their first steps toward becoming leaders in the future of technology.
WAICY 2025 is more than a competition—it is a movement to educate, connect, and empower youth as they shape the future of artificial intelligence.

Project submission begin
The online submission form can be accessed here.

Submission deadline
The online submission form will close at 5:00 PM ET.
December 3
Allocate time slot
Participants of the final competition will be arranged a time section of attending the final WAICY.
December 5 – 7
Final competition day
Participants need to present in front of the judges and answer questions during the Q&A sessions.
December 8
Winner Announcement
The winners and awards will be announced online.
Competition Tracks
Create a project that showcases an AI solution for a real-world problem.
Based on this year’s theme, create artworks using text-to-image AI models like DALL∙E 2, Midjourney, or Stable Diffusion.
Instruct the AI to adopt a specific domain of expertise using popular AI Large Language Models, such as ChatGPT, Bard AI, and others.
Leverage AI tools to create a short video that either addresses a real-world problem or conveys a compelling message.
